At Aang Serian we view education as a dynamic, lifelong process rooted in respect for the Earth, the Creator, and the wisdom of community elders. While accepting that the time has come to abandon harmful customs such as female genital mutilation, we strongly believe that other aspects of traditional African culture can and should be taught in secondary schools alongside conventional curriculum subjects. We also invite visitors from overseas to share in our educational journey, through the International Student Programme. |
